In Imagination you will explore the world of science, technology and engineering… Not by watching, but by DOING! You will learn about the engineering design process as you build your own devices and participate in hands on activities exploring the many different aspects of engineering. Rising 7th or 8th graders are invited to apply. Preference will be given to first time applicants. The program will feature an electrical and computer engineering (ECE) project such as building a video game console or digital camera, including learning to solder. Both day and residential options are available. Programming will take place from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm on the Blacksburg campus of Virginia Tech.
