Imagination Drone Camp is a weeklong residential summer program for rising 7th & 8th graders. Campers build small, prop-guarded drones (2.5” micro quadcopters) using plug-and-play components such as brushless motors, flight controllers, and radios. The kits emphasize hands-on learning in modern drone technology, safe flight practices, and core aerospace engineering principles. They will also learn about related careers, tour labs and build and launch Quest Starhawk rockets. Participants will connect with faculty, staff, current college students and peers creating a support network. The program also allows students to see what life as a college student is like and provides ongoing support in navigating the college application process.
