Mill Mountain Zoo Summer Camps 2026 

Mill Mountain Zoo’s popular summer camps are a fantastic way to introduce your child to the animal kingdom—or to deepen an existing love for the feathered, furry, and scaly critters of our planet! Each camp is designed to inspire respect, curiosity, and enthusiasm for the natural world through hands-on, fun, and educational activities.

Campers will experience behind-the-scenes adventures, up-close animal encounters, arts and crafts, scavenger hunts, scientific explorations, and OH SO MUCH MORE! Summer Camp is designed for students ages 6–15. Camps are outdoors and run rain or shine, so students must dress appropriately. Closed-toed shoes are required (no Crocs!). Please send campers with a lunch that does not require refrigeration and a water bottle. The Zoo will provide water and a daily snack.
